| MSAVA ANNUAL GRAND MEETING |
We, the Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association (MSAVA), like to announce that our Annual General Meeting will be held on the 16th of August, 2008 at the Equatorial Hotel - Bangi Selangor. The AGM will begin in the afternoon and will be followed by the Annual Dinner that will commence at 8pm, also to be held at the Equatorial Hotel. All the members are cordially invited to attend the AGM and Annual Dinner. On the 17th of August, a scientific conference will take place from 8 am till 5.30 pm. This conference will cover a wide range of topics that will prove invaluable to all veterinarians. The papers that will be presented during the AGM are Orthomolecular Medicine in Vet Practice, Orthomolecular Approach to FeLV Prevention and Control, Chronic Sub Clinical Scurvy and Canine HD, and topics on Dentistry. These topics will be presented by Dr. Belfield of Vetstar. Borneosew Medical Trading - is sponsoring a talk on Feline Vaccines, Mediplus on the other hand are presenting topics on Anaestheiology. There are papers from our member practitioners. Running concurrently with the scientific conference will be an exhibition. Many companies who are integral to the veterinary community will be represented at the exhibition.
To all those who are interested, you may contact members of the MSAVA Committee for further details. It is our hope that many, if not all the members and veterinarians of the community will be able to grace this event.
A public seminar will be held on the 17th August 2008 at the same venue. Please inform NGO’s who you are aware of to inform their members. Seats are limited to 100 only. The topics will be on animal health, training tips & government laws. The Chairwoman for the public seminar is Dr. P. Vanaja. Please contact her for further information.
